Input and Output

GollyGee Blocks lets children easily save their scenes, print their scenes, and load scenes
that they'd previously worked on. Also, GollyGee gives children the ability to take a
"snapshot" of their scene. This snapshot is saved into the photo album, where kids can keep
a photo record of all their coolest works. The snapshot is also saved on the hard drive as a bitmap
which can be edited using other programs or imported into Quicktime for hassle-free animation.

Advanced Modeling
|
|
GollyGee Blocks prides itself on being easy to use for younger kids, but older kids will
find a number of more advanced tools designed to give them more control. For example, by
clicking on a switch at the bottom of the screen, kids can determine whether their blocks
will stack one on another or overlap when they are being placed. The magnet switch controls whether
transformations applied to an object in a stack apply to just that object or to the whole stack.
Toggling on wireframe mode is a nice way to line up blocks more exactly or just get a new view
of a scene.

Great for Educators

GollyGee Blocks is not just fun; it is a creativity tool that offers real learning opportunities.
Children gain spatial reasoning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills just by adjusting the cameras
and moving objects. For teachers, an Activity Guide (sold separately) offers lesson plans
that use GollyGee Blocks to teach a variety of math and social studies lessons to kids of all different ages.
